The Future for Stobi
Committed to producing quality Macedonian wines, Stobi continues to invest in new grapes keeping the future exciting and fresh.
The first step in getting top wine quality starts with the quality of the grapes. Each year Stobi invest in new vineyards choosing plants and rootstocks with care ensuring they will produce the best quality wines from the best possible sites.
Looking to appeal to worldwide tastes the Stobi Winery experiments with new varieties to add to those they already grow - white grapes such as Žilavka, Župljanka, R’kaciteli, Riesling, Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel and red varieties such as Vranec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Petit Verdot.
In the last two years Stobi has planted 60 hectares with grape rootstock sourced from the world renowned Vivai Cooperativi Rauscedo in Friuli, Italy.
Stobi's passion is in their land, their vines and their wines.
